Dry Stone Walling
Mr P has done a couple of sessions repairing dry stone walls at volunteer days with the Cumbria Wildlife Trust . Keen to practice his new skills he volunteered to repair a neighbours wall that had collapsed where a branch was growing into it. First a lot of sawing to remove the offending branches, then work out where all the stones on the ground should go. I have to admit he's done well and I hope our neighbour is impressed.
