Execution or reprieve?

I have been keeping an eye on this little fella developing on the buds to my blueberry plant for a while now. Today, with the temperature reaching double figures, he awoke.

I'm not great at killing creatures, not even caterpillars and snails, but then I also don't want him to eat all of the buds off of my blueberry plant.

Decisions, decisions.....
