Exploring Clifton in the sunshine

I’m not often here, but today I met up with my cousin’s daughter in a café - she’s a professional musician, currently on tour, and she’s at the Bristol Hippodrome for 3 weeks. She plays the saxophone, flute and clarinet - the show is Dreamgirls, which is loosely based on the story of the Supremes - and has a great gospel/Motown score which she’s really enjoying.  I feel very proud of her - last time I saw her she was playing for In The Heights in London. I’m going to see the show next week, I think it will be an event which makes you feel happy.
The main is of Royal York Crescent - the most outstanding Georgian buildings in Bristol I think. It can be seen from almost anywhere in South Bristol, and consequently there is a fabulous view from it too. The extra needs no introduction - I included it as I thought it was nice to see the river, looking a bit blue, down through the trees. She really enjoyed our walk around the sights.
