The Night Before his Operation

Tomorrow Preston is finally going to get his hip replacement! He should have had it months ago but the crack in the head of his femur was not noticed when he fell off the roof in mid August and broke his right humerus in 4 places. Only when that healed was there obviously something not right in his back leg. It took months to finally get a diagnosis, then another month to find someone to do the replacement. So he will be back in the cage for 6 weeks when we get him back on Monday. Poor little fellow, he will be so lost in hospital for three days and we can’t visit him! Nexya will be confused, no one to play fight with. We shall be on tenterhooks tomorrow till we know he is OK.
