Refuse all imitations
The greetings cards that I make are either printed on plain card, or alternatively on watercolour art board if I want them to look extra special. This latter board requires me to put a paper inner inside for ease of printing and hand writing the greeting.
Up until now I've stuck the inner in using an ATG double sided tape dispenser, but I thought it would be nicer to tie a piece of baker's twine around and finish it with a bow. I found a British company who make cotton twine and treated myself to 100 metres each of silver sparkle, gold sparkle and plain pink. I also bought this 500 metre reel of plain white, which will be the most useful colour.
On the back of the brown label round the reel were the words: REFUSE ALL IMITATIONS. I was happy to do so.
And maybe tomorrow I will show you what I was tying this twine round ...
