Abtract Thursday: "Natural Shapes"

I popped out into the garden to grab today's blip for Ingeborg's AT challenge, meaning to take a shot of a fir cone. However some patches of lichen on our stone patio caught my eye so I changed to my macro lens to get a real close-up and was amazed to see the complexity of these tiny organisms. And no fartnarkling was required to make it fit the challenge! (Just as well as our very enjoyable busy family time continues: the granddog left on Tuesday and my younger brother from Reading & his wife are due to arrive soon for a few days...at least they won't need taking out into the garden for you-know-what, neither will they want to catch a ball over & over again in their teeth!)
