I was driving down the narrow Beach Road in Weybourne when I spotted this tractor coming in my direction cutting the hedges. I waited where there was a tiny indent and it managed to squeeze past. A lovely sunny day for a walk on the cliffs, including watching hundreds of geese fly over. On the drive home up the hill, I came across a minor accident where both passing cars had destroyed wing mirrors - words were being said!

The Health Secretary announced today that from Monday a minimum of 5 full days must be spent in self isolation if testing positive, but if the person has and reports a negative LFT on Day 5 and the morning of day 6 they can leave their home. This is despite nearly a third of people still being infectious at the end of Day 5 - let’s hope they do the tests, do them properly, and don’t just hear ‘5 days’. Jonathan Van-Tam is to leave his role as Deputy CMO in March and return to the University of Nottingham where he’s been on secondment from.
