Staff Nurse

I can claim some credit for Annie passing her final tests after 3 years of nurse training at the Middlesex Hospital in central London, just behind Oxford Street. It has now been demolished but was a leading hospital in its day.

We had been together most of her trainee time, and we had spent countless hours in her nurse's home room just down the road studying text books and me testing her on loads of horrible matters.

Always had enormous admiration for those huge caps they got after their trainee times. At the time of this photo we had broken up. Explains her smile, I'm sure
