Unintentional Abstract

I wish I could say I came up with this image with Abstract Thursday in mind.  These are all natural shapes I guess. What actually happened was that I spotted this heron, which was then spooked by a couple of noisy dog walkers.  It wasn't going to hang around and pose for me, so I hastily clicked the shutter and accidentally pressed Record at the same time.  The buttons are a bit close.  After some research Google told me how to get a photo from a video: useful information to file away for future reference.  The result is possibly a little strange, but I liked it anyway.

I'm not on Blip much at the moment.  January does not inspire me where photography is concerned, and I have plenty of other things to occupy me.  So I'll just pop in and say hello from time to time.
