A Ray of Light

I don’t have to go far to see lovely views of hills - this ever changing view is looking towards the Lowther Hills in the Southern Uplands and I was struck by the sight of this spotlight of sun shining down today. It symbolised for me the ray of hope and light I felt with three different pieces of good news today, I feel a corner has been turned and my creativity is returning! I have only been here on Blipfoto for 12 days but being part of this wonderful warm community has really given me a boost too - thank you to my followers for stars and hearts and comments so far!
In other news, I made a lovely fruit crumble with fresh pears soaked in locally produced Cider with cardamom - a favourite spice. I make my crumble mix with rolled oats, dessicated coconut, sunflower and chia seeds, roasted buckwheat and butter. It tasted lovely and there is plenty for tomorrow.
