Tiny Shoes

They’re about the size of my little finger. My parents got married in 1940 and these porcelain shoes were on their wedding cake. I don’t know if there’s any significance of shoes but my Dad was a chiropodist after WW2. I was going to ask my eldest granddaughter if she wanted them on her wedding cake but, as she had a Star Wars one,I guessed she wouldn’t. I might ask my youngest granddaughter eventually.  I was worried about driving Norm to the Eye Hospital in south Manchester today but it was all fine. I’ve lost confidence driving lately but I feel better after today. Norm is having his cataracts done soon.
