Squishy face

This squish is working her little butt off. Yesterday, she had an area cross country meet. She came ninth and heard today she's qualified for the County meet next weekend. She's absolutely delighted. I am currently researching trail spikes for her. Sigh....!

She had her first netball match yesterday. She was made captain of the B team and they have decided they want her to be goalkeeper. She's proud of the captaincy, she's not impressed at the pressure she's under to partake in extra training. She's already declined as she does not wish to take further risk of broken fingers!

She was given some time out this afternoon instead of going to Thursday activities, so I am hoping she got to quietly unwind in the rare opportunity for an empty boarding house. She needed it.
