Oh dear!

The boiler developed a strange noise over Christmas and the first appointment I could get under the ' home care' plan was 24/01. The noise has got steadily worse and worrying until today when the little green light would shine no more - no heating, no hot water! Managed after an agonising wait and slightly annoying exchange on the phone to get an appointment tomorrow. As a result we went to the local pub for dinner to keep warm - very empty and felt safe, followed by supermarket shopping at 9 pm! Now back in the cold house luckily no frost forecast here.
