Scorched Earth

Not really - we have a new gardener, a Scout dad who is coming once a month-ish. He’s an illustrator when not gardening, we had many conversations during the day yesterday, possibly too many but hey ho. He’s doing a cracking job of clearing out overgrown stuff and fired up the chipper we’ve got on loan. Apparently it was great until it ran out of fuel.

So MrRoly took a perambulation around the grounds today to admire the hard work. The only walk I managed but I did have Scouts tonight so managed a reasonable 7,000+ steps. Tomorrow I’ll just have to do a few extra….
