Signs of Life

My early am flight was, well, early. But I was upgraded to first class which made all the difference in the world. I was home by 10:00 am and back at work!

It was rainy when I arrived in Portland, but it gradually stopped and I took the kitties out to the garden this afternoon to see what was stirring. I was delighted to find a lady bug tucked away in the euphorbia...signs of life! 

I found some snowdrops blooming, although my attempts at photographing them were not successful, I will try again tomorrow when it's supposed to be sunny!

Happy to be home, although it was fabulous to have a short, warm and sunny vacation. I'm very much looking forward to a good sleep tonight!
