Next stage of the microwave saga was the return of the latest faulty one to the electrical appliance dealer. Got a different basic quality one from the supermarket and it works! Touch wood. Got a return label for the broken one (before the faulty one) and took it back to the firm who delivered it, DHL. They wanted 273 euros to take it, more than the cost of the item. Needless to say, that offer was not accepted. Correos wanted 90 euros for the free return. Also not accepted. Much online complaining to the seller, who agreed to send a new returns label sometime, maybe.
