Hair-raising

It's interesting how far reaching the effects of the pandemic have been. During the first lockdown I learnt the art of hair-cutting. I don't think I could ever make a living at it but it kept my other half from looking like Rip van Winkle. As soon as it was feasible I sent him to the barbers to have it done properly. Anyway, with covid rates so high at the moment he decided to put off a trip to the barbers for a couple of weeks. So this afternoon I got my scissors out again. I am still a bit nervous but he takes it all quite calmly nowadays. Unlike the first time, when we were like a pair of tremulous virgins.
