Freebies

Like many others, me and my mates used to love the BBC Grandstand scrambling, on TV. After the last race of the day, we all met up on our pushbikes, on some rough ground,and pretend that we were the riders that we'd seen earlier. If I was very lucky, I may be Jeff Smith, or Dave Bickers, that week !
 The guides in my Blip were available, by filling in a form in MCN. they must have been free, as I wouldn't havehad any money then ! They are dated 1965 and I'm so glad that I've kept them, all this time.
