Down by the river

Another lovely cold start to the day book me down to the local water meadows, for this frosty dawn shot.  In previous years this area has been a semi-permanent lake, but this winter has, to date, definitely been a bit drier than last year's.  I wouldn't mind if these frosty starts continued for a few more weeks, but the forecast doesn't look too encouraging at the moment.

I've uploaded an extra showing two local anglers setting off across the fields a bit earlier on, in the hope of finding a good spot to fish. I was going to make that my main image, but Cathy preferred the dawn shot - what do you think?
