New Boots

I bought a new pair of boots a few days ago, have been wearing them in around the house and this afternoon took them for an outing with the dogs to the postbox. There were really so comfortable that we ended up carrying on past the post box, down the estate, in through the secret garden onto the long path and back towards home again. Calling in at the postbox again, as I had forgotten to post the printer cartridges back to the manufacturer for recycling. They were a small package which fitted in my pocket, so forgot on the way past the box the first time, just posted the letter I was holding in my hand!
Anyway, might well keep the boots for dog walking and get another pair in a different colour for "best".
As we went through the secret garden, saw this abandoned public notice signpost. I think I last saw it on the long path, further down, but not certain. Thought it might do for derelict sunday.
