Nine patch blocks

Today after a good week of rearranging and lying in the night mentally moving blocks in my head I started putting this quilt together in the original 9 patch design I planned:) It’s going together quite quickly which is good - I love Kaffe Fasset fabrics although they can be a bit ‘ in your face’ sometimes.
In good news - H’s friend whose mum died so tragically last January has just had her first baby - a wee boy. All is well - some joy for the family :)
