We have staggered, coughing and sniffing, to the end of the week. Well, I’ve been coughing etc, the Ards Man has been in rude health. He even went out in the boat today! Although he said that there wasn’t much wind on the Lough, a situation brought embarrassingly home to him when a guy standing on a paddle board overtook him. :-)

I’ve been confined to home, still trying to get rid of this flipping cold. That’s three weeks now! Honestly, I don’t know what my immune system’s up to, but it had better pull its socks up and get rid of these invaders!

So we’re having a lovely peaceful Friday night in. Hope you (and I) have a very pleasant weekend.

PS those little chocolates in a box on the right of the table are Hotel Chocolat mint macarons. Divine!
