Birdwatch

An interesting birdwatching event run by Devon Wildlife Trust held at Meeth Quarry Nature Reserve.
We spotted the following:
Long-tailed tit, Blue tit, Great tit, Willow tit, Marsh tit, Coal tit, Siskin, Redwing, Robin, Wren, Lesser redpoll, Skylark, Pheasant, Buzzard, Kestrel, Sparrow Hawk, Jay, Crow, Jackdaw, Magpie, Herring gull, , Moorhen, Coot, Snipe, Mallard, Goosander, Canada goose, Shoveller, Tufted duck, Widgeon, Great crested grebe, Little -grebe (dabchick), Gadwall, Kingfisher, Green Woodpecker
Greater-spotted woodpecker, Mistle- thrush, Song -thrush, Blackbird, Starling, Pied wagtail, Bullfinch.
Free entry lots of space, definitely worth a visit if you are in the area.
