A new path
Phin was such a good boy last night, slept on Mr PHL’s bunk all night and only came across to give me a cuddle when I invited him just after 8.
The range was delivered as scheduled first thing this morning and is apparently lying in the hallway as there’s no space in the kitchen for it at the moment.
The electricians arrived at lunchtime after having to wait at the suppliers for the fittings they had ordered and have done all they can for now. The builder will be back on Monday to carry on fitting the units.
Phin and I passed a pleasant morning in the van, he was mostly sleeping and I carried on with wee hats. On our pre lunchtime walk I took a different path and ended up in Roslin Glen again, he enjoyed the different smells and the chance to swim in the river.
Mr PHL came over in the afternoon and is staying in the van tonight - poor Phin will be relegated to his dog bed. Hope he sleeps!
Our plans to head to Aberdeen tomorrow for the weekend have been thwarted as Mr PHL’s sister (who turned 60 recently and we were meeting for dinner) has tested positive for covid. Trip postponed to an as yet to be determined later date.
Luckily she’s feeling well.
Loved the cherry blossom I spotted on the early morning dog walk. Very pretty but too early. Thanks to BikerBear-Bear for hosting.
