Northern Lights

We took some stuff to Emma and then had evening walk. There is pääkallokeli on our roads, pavements and tracks now, meaning very slippery, icy conditions. That's why we went for a walk to Tampere city centre, it was easier to walk there. 

When we left home around 21:00, I saw Aurora notification on my phone. I didn't have my tripod in car, but we drove to Rauhaniemi anyway. When we arrived to the lake shore, there was very visible Aurora show ongoing in the northern sky! We were so happy to see it and I managed to take photos placing my camera on top of a snowbank. It didn't last for long and then clouds crawled to the sky, so we decided to leave. We were very lucky with timing!
