A Saturday bargain

Bird feeding problems. We bought two squirrel proof feeders so the little birds had a chance to eat in the cold weather. They have worked with greenfinches and goldfinches enjoying regular meals and the squirrels and larger birds excluded.

This morning one feeder and it’s support bracket on the floor. Evidence of a badger in the garden and a badger would be strong enough to pull the feeder and bracket down. Remedial action taken to prevent the badger entering the garden and while at the DIY shop I found the cactus, for £1.
