Another miserable, grey, misty, cold day. Went for a run this morning & I need to get some stuff for the orienteering club finished this afternoon so I couldn't spend ages playing with indoor subjects. Some witch hazel was flowering in a neighbour's garden when I was out, but I only had my phone & anyway, it was too dark to do it justice. It's bookmarked for a brighter day, if we get another one before the flowers shrivel. So - back to a quick prowl around the garden with the camera. The most colourful subject (which I haven't used recently) is this Cornus. It's a bit of a tangle of small shoots, so I had difficulty in finding any sort of composition. This seemed to be the best.
