Along the shore (Day 2443)

An early wander up the hill in the dark with Sigyn started the day off. Once she was back at home, I headed into town and got the weekly shopping done before Tesco got too peopley.
Back home for breakfast and to await the return of my beautiful wife from her overnight shift at work. While I waited, a new numnah (an enormously expensive pad thing which goes under the saddle on a hoss) arrived. I had ordered it a couple of weeks ago, and was told that it would be at least 6 weeks before it arrived, and maybe even as much at two months. George has been needing a new one for a while so it was.good to get it home today.
When HV arrived home we zoomed off, collected the hoss trailer from its service, then headed for Stromness and got out a really nice ride through Stromness and along the shore. George was a bit easier to handle today and I thoroughly enjoyed getting out.
Home for a quick lunch, then a wander with Sigyn at Lyde.
This evening we are off to town with Mum and Dad for a curry.
