Splash of colour

Today seemed quite mild so I decided to do my first gardening of the year, mainly just pulling up and cutting off ‘dead stuff’. Not even weeding - that will be a chore for next time.
It was lovely to see the first signs of colour - this broom is starting to flower, a few primula and cowslips too and the bulbs are poking up through the soil. Roll on spring!
