Curlews

Today we went for a walk at Hoylake and came across a two curlews.They were obviously a pair and after mirroring movements and paying each other a lot of attention there was an almighty kerfuffle and they both flapped their wings and turned round and round for a few seconds and then casually walked on. It was very amusing and I took lots of shots, mostly with only one of their heads visible and in some just a flurry of wings!
