A Silly thing to do . . .

Well it is Saturday, so I thought I would format the drive on the old laptop.  It did the trick, almost, and I was able to reinstate a completely clean W7 afterwards, and I did manage to get the LAN (ethernet/wired) working, but not the Wireless (WiFi).  It all works in Linux.
 
The screen blipped is in Linux.
 
For me it’s ‘hang it’ - we have a new super laptop so the old one will be formatted again and run as Linux.  Mrs W has different ideas and is playing again as I blip.  Watch this space . . .
 
Yes, another EB, or as close as you will get before 23.59 hrs !!!  I did take it earlier with the way the day was unfolding in mind.
