Fishing nets
The second day of the Ameland photography weekend. We didn't see the sun once, but we managed some great abstract shots around the time of sunrise and some good layered images of dunes in the mist. I only took photos around sunrise and this is one of them. The sky was dull and grey and the waves weren't that interesting either, so I opted for a longer exposure using a six-stop ND filter to get a more abstract look. This flattened the water quite nicely I think.
The poles and planks hold nets that are under water. It's for fishing but I don't know what type of fishing this is...
