Sunny, but Cold!

We started the day early and got up the Arboretum, expecting the grandchildren midday. But they had playdates, so we had the day to ourselves. We're still trying to untangle the web of information around my husband's retirement 1/31 - health insurance, Medicare, social security, etc, etc, etc. So it was a good afternoon to tackle some of that. 

It was really too chilly to spend much time outside this afternoon - what I really mean is that it wasn't gardening weather! So today's blip is a different color of Hamamelis mollis or Witch Hazel that I saw in the arboretum this morning. It's a luscious color, isn't it?
