Waxing Gibbous Moon
I spent the afternoon running errands with my sister, and at the end of the day, I still did not have a photograph for this day’s blip. I resorted to some more astrophotography to solve this dilemma. It was cold (12°F / -11°C) outside tonight, but I got my blip. The resulting handheld image of the Waxing Gibbous moon with 94 percent illumination was created at 7:17pm EST.
