Tatum, Fiona and the Meerkats

We finally decided  use our zoo lantern tickets tonight. ( they were for the night it snowed and the zoo was closed)   Crowded, dark, hard to see, ( had to take off my glasses which wouldn’t unfog) and a bit foggy ,  but we made it upright.  Whew.     The silk over metal armatures, some moving, was quite bright and remarkable and all over.  ( see extra)   Picked up fish and chips to eat before it got dark enuf, and the order was 1/2 wrong….. I think it’s hard for the take outs who are short staffed…. we fixed it after . .. and it was great to at least have a catch up with the granddaughters …. The UW is not back to in person classes  yet but Tatum thinks soon.   Her roommate on campus wants her to come back to the dorm.  Fiona says there are no covid tests available at her school but at least it still seems to have enough staff working.     Glad we ventured out and got to spend time with family!
