Gateshead International Jazz Festival...

is taking place at the Sage this weekend, so we went there when I finished working this afternoon. It was packed. As well as concerts taking place in all the halls and at other venues thoughout the town, the concourse is being used for amateurs to show their talent.
This is a group of degree students who are based at the Sage. They were brilliant.
People were settled on the concourse to watch all night I think, and it is free.
