Penrith

A view over Penrith looking west to the Lake District Fells , from Penrith Golf Club.   I don't know what is the industry in the centre  belching smoke or condensation into the atmosphere.  Somebody local will know.
We were not playing golf but parking there for an orienteering event in some nearby woods where I stunned myself by coming above half way down the results. Admittedly many were older than me. I kept coming across Stan from the host Border Liners club who is M85 and beat me by 4 minutes.
