Up! up! my friend, and quit your books

I have my friend Mrs HCB to thank for the inspiration behind this photo, after seeing hers yesterday. I'm posting a quick blip while we have family staying, so I'm a bit busy and probably should be doing something else at the moment. But I couldn't resist showing you a picture of some of my favourite books during a quiet lull in the household.

I am in something of a dilemma here. Being a huge Wordsworth fan, I love "The Tables Turned" from which my photo title is taken, and I fully agree that it's good to let Nature be my teacher. However, if that requires me to quit my books, then I will have to take issue with William. My books and I are not easily parted ...
