Fig Jam

The dried figs had been somewhat malingering, being rather hard, until I steamed them the day before yesterday. They have now been converted into jam with additional toasted sesame and walnuts. Aniseed was also included in the recipe from hadiaslebanesecuisine.com .The contents of the pan will be consumed with chestnut pancakes later.
