Fishing
A busy day today, photographically speaking.
It started off with the Edinburgh Parkrun. My local Parkrun is Falkirk, but it has been closed for a few weeks as the Forestry Commission is doing work on the woods that the run goes through. So instead, I went along to Edinburgh today, which is run on the Cramond promenade in the north west corner of the city. It was a perfect morning for it, cold-ish but a beautifully sunny sky, and pretty calm. I missed a PB by just one second, but will definitely aim to beat it in a couple of weeks! With thanks to Chris Pilley, here's a pic of me nearing the end of the run: http://www.flickr.com/photos/7718006@N08/8624539278/
After the run, I went for a walk along the Promenade taking a few photographs, some of which I shall post. When I had had my fill of the promenade,I drove home, stopping off at Linlithgow on the way.
Still in my running kit, I walked along the side of Linlithgow Loch, snapping a few pics along the way, including this one. I also had a chat with a fellow who was taking bird pictures; he told me to look out for a Slavonic (??) Grebe that was taking temporary residence in the Loch. I did see the bird, but sadly my photos were rubbish!
As if that wasn't enough, we went for a walk along the Forth and Clyde canal too, but the weather was on the turn and the photos from that trip didn't do quite as well...
