Snow Moon in Blue

This is January's gorgeous moon, waxing full. It will officially be totally full by Tuesday, but it is looking plenty large right now. The January moon has many names. The Wolf Moon. The Ice Moon. The Old Moon. The Snow Moon.

Let's go with the last one, since big snow is coming! I live in central PA and we are expecting a big winter storm that will leave us with 4 to 6 inches of snow, or more, locally, with much more snow for points west of us, followed by blizzard-type blowing conditions on Monday. Wish us luck!
