Moonlight and stars...

What was mostly a dull day ended bright and sunny with clear skies. So I took the opportunity to go up to All Saints Church at Castle Camps to try and get a photo of part of the Milky Way behind the church tower.

But as you can see just as the stars came out the clouds rolled back. The Moon is almost full and lit the scene.

I've photographed the Moon often but this is the first time for a moonlit scene.
