This used to be the East Lodge and Gateway to the Royal Victoria Hospital, but right now the whole site is waiting to be redeveloped and is looking pretty sorry for itself. This particular building is 116 years old and was built when the hospital was a pioneering and expanding centre for the treatment of tuberculosis. It's such a shame when places are let go like this...

Got out for a really good walk by myself today, with an audiobook for company, and really enjoyed the sun and fresh air.
