Morning walk

Ohhh, it was all frosty this morning. It was too cold for the camping stove so we lit a bbq and I made us eggs Benedict. Fully fortified we went for a lovely walk all around the country park where our campsite is. We had plans to go to the pub for lunch but having sat down for a bit with pre- lunch champagne we assessed all the lovely food we already owned so stayed put. I had bought us each a scratch card so we spent some happy minutes organising that- Hannah decided she had won £50000 so that was nice but in fact just hadn’t scratched off enough of the silver stuff. She had managed a fiver though.

We struck up conversation with our closest neighbour and learnt about his fascinating life of Cambodia, motorhomes, early retirement and Adam Woodyatt. All v interesting. Then one of the office ladies stopped by, we are apparently the talk of the campsite, with our outside living. Everyone else just sits in their vans. Anyway, it was all good fun. And I managed to stay up until 10pm!
