No spurs game
Up at 4.30, London by 8. Picked up by Trig, F’s Godfather who we’ve not seen since 2010 so it was an lovely reunion. Relaxed breakfast and saw his kids at his home, then a drive to Harlow to see his mum who’s been a constant in my life since Jon and I met on holiday in 1985. Great catch up

So without the spurs game we set off into the sunset towards London and walked over Tower Bridge along Southbank. The light was glorious and just wowed by the magic
Of all the buildings, most of which weren’t built when in lived here in the 80s.
Checked into our hotel and headed up to the Sky Bar in the ‘Walkie-talkie’ building .the view from the top was spectacular. So many photos but still could capture the skyline in all its glory.
Great day which could have been a disappointment instead it was perfect
