This Amaryllis opened today

To brighten the day .
I turned 75 today and that is way older than I ever wanted to be. If you think that it is a similar time span as from 1900 until 1975, did I experience the same amount of changes and events as people then?
Besides the two wars, I would say yes. With this in mind, I am very grateful for the life lived so far. Especially for all the medical help for my failing joints. But can I accept another “new knee” without feeling guilty? Can those expenses amortize?
Maybe you have some answers to that question?
