A quick walk around the block late afternoon after feeling restless and tired and queasy since lunch, very strange. Lovely catch up with Mark, Aimée, and Benji after that — his little wave as I hung up was the best thing ever.

We watched Nomadland in the evening, I thoroughly enjoyed it. The combination of Frances McDormand acting and interacting with real modern-day nomads makes for such an interesting watch — kinda documentary, but kinda just like watching beautifully portrayed characters (because they’re not characters but real people).
