Things in Threes
The satisfaction of things in threes...
I spent a fair amount of time in my career as an English teacher discussing the use of power of three in Literature with inquisitive and lively minds . It has always fascinated me since I studied Shakespeare's Julius Caesar for O' Level back in the 1960s. "Friends, Romans, Countrymen..." And then when I had to start teaching more English Language and Media, the power of three and its persistent use seemed to be much more obvious.
I have never been quite so visual but I do notice threes in Nature and Art now so I hope you like my three oak leaves: decaying, crisp and sinuous...
