Pond at dusk

Today's the first day of term and I wasn't able to make it to the plot until late afternoon. I dropped off a bucket of kitchen waste and made a bit of progress with the (inside) shed painting job. 

The pond looked so beautiful in the evening light. I recently added new birch logs around the edges - hopefully this will help to make it a cat-free and deer-free drinking zone this summer!
