No loitering at the library

After a mildly stressful morning I felt the need to walk and I had left it too late to do anything that involved travel so I walked in the direction of Pollokshields where the library is open on a Monday. Excellent coffee and cake en route in Deli Zola which was unusually very quiet, perhaps on account of the road works on Kilmarnock Road. Next stop various charity shops where I was looking for a 500 piece jigsaw for my elderly neighbour who has caught Covid, he’s triple vaccinated and sounded chipper enough on the phone. I found one and later he texted to thank me and to point out that the picture on the front was probably too small to be useful. Ah well.
I had forgotten that the Hidden Gardens were closed on Mondays, this made me look around the outside more closely than I would otherwise have done and I noticed the old tram lines outside the stage door of The Tramway, which I photographed for a possible blip. However, the blip I’ve gone for, because it made me smile, was the just about readable territorial imperative outside the Pollokshields library.
Arrived home after a very slow and enjoyable six miles, and with many stops. I think even Islay dog would have circuited it faster.
Spent the early evening on zoom with Ricefield Arts finding out how to make Chinese dumplings. Several folk were making them in real time. I might give it a go, the ready prepared frozen ones are always such a disappointment.
